Evgeny's Tattoo Portfolio
The portfolio should present Blackwork as the primary style and organise Graphic and Anime crossover as clear supporting directions.
Evgeny's Primary Style and Additional Directions
Blackwork custom designs using clear silhouette, black areas, graphic construction or Anime influence. Medium and large projects provide particular room for hierarchy and body flow.
Anime and Graphic as Blackwork crossover
Anime and Graphic work particularly well in Evgeny's portfolio as support for Blackwork: characters or scenes gain a clear silhouette, controlled black areas and graphic organisation.

How Evgeny's Blackwork projects are planned
Silhouette
The full form needs to work from a normal viewing distance.
Black areas
Density, size and distribution are adapted to subject and placement.
Negative space
Open skin separates elements, creates contrast and may become part of the subject.
- Blackwork does not automatically mean Blackout.
- Not every Blackwork project needs to be fully solid black.
- Graphic does not automatically mean geometric.
- Anime is not copied unchanged from another tattoo composition.
